grod277 ::: Favorites I'm sorry to say this but YOU are a bonified idiot - no question about it. 07-09-13 20:48:30 __________________________________________________
Worsthoofd ::: Favorites I suppose God also gave us the countless processing plants necessary to convert crude oil into actually usable substances? 07-09-12 18:24:49 __________________________________________________
7forward ::: Favorites Cut your electric bill by up to 25% or more... Save ELECTRICITY the ENVIRONMENT and MONEY!!! Details at this site: Electric Bill Discount dot com 07-09-11 13:51:22 __________________________________________________
LatteLiberal ::: Favorites If God wanted us to use solar power, he would have given us panels. But we have to BUILD panels. But God DID give us OIL. Something in the ground, all natural and plenty of it in iran and under the ice at the north and south pole. Soon theose will melt and we can drill the poles. We will not need solar power. Vote NO to "alternatives". Vote YES to whats natural. 07-09-08 22:59:16 __________________________________________________
feelytouchy67 ::: Favorites You are correct insofar as solar grid-tie systems without batteries are concerned. However, with grid-tie systems that have battery backup, some or all grid produced electricity can be forfeited. It all depends on one's system. A completely independant, non-grid-tie system completely eliminates the use of coal, nuclear, natural gas etc. etc. 07-08-28 03:31:06 __________________________________________________
greenmountainsolar ::: Favorites learn how i live on 3KW of energy per day or less.. greenmountainsolar dot com 07-08-04 10:43:14 __________________________________________________
SidewaysCowboy ::: Favorites There are maps you can find on the net that show how much sun your area gets and will help you figure out how effective it will be where you are. Out East has more solar than the Southwest where there's more sun!! go figure.... Our system is still tied to the grid. A plus is we can sell back to our local utility at the going rate. Energy rates have gone up by 30% in our area in the last two years so our system is saving us much more than when we put it in..... 07-07-24 23:54:22 __________________________________________________
xekul ::: Favorites i notice all these people seem to live in arizona or nevada or socal. i live in central texas. i know people out in west texas who use solar with great sucess. but i wonder how it would fair in a wetter (and thus cloudier) climate. even so, i am enthusiastic and am looking at building my next house "off the grid" 07-07-24 21:15:14 __________________________________________________

REnergyEngineer28 ::: Favorites The use of baseload renewable energy technologies, i.e. geothermal, biomass, hydroelectric, current, tidal, distributed wind, and CSP with thermal storage, is the only solution to perminant removal of thermal powerstations including nuclear, coal, natural gas combined cycle, etc. 07-06-26 08:02:30 __________________________________________________ |
