ConfuseGISMGauze ::: Favorites  2006-03-12 20:51:27 Just for the people who don't know, Japanese band GISM's lead singer had a magazine called POW (Punk On Wave) back in the 80's. It was mainly a skater punk magazine that later became Performance Of War, still taking on the acronym POW. The later verisons of POW taught people how to kill, make weapons, etc. This was the commercial fot the earlier version of the magazine that was aired on TV in Japan. __________________________________________________

Apparently Punk On Wave was a really low key magazine with skater stuff inside it and pretty much just like a normal skate mag, but when it changed to Performance Of War, it ended up being really violent and taught you how to make bombs and shit. Crazy stuff in the world of Sakevi/GISM. __________________________________________________

Also it was a very thick magazine and showed lots of hardcore punk and noise bands at the time.
