i was at the rock and roll hall of fame, and they had an exhibit about the festival and they were playing the movie. i walked in to jimi playing wild thing, and then the mamas and the papas, and then ravi came on. it was like 20 minutes but it went so fast. he had me mesmerized. i especially liked the part where him and the drummer had almost a duel of sorts.

surreal religious experience . this tied in with the year but i hear shankar was extremely upset by his visit to san fran because he felt it was an exploitation of india. a fad for the sixties. main point being our need for a culturally quick entertainment change is either at a low or high for virtually everyone in this country right?
