Description:
Attention: We found errors in spelling and some other adjustment were needed so, this version is not the corrected Video, we are uploading the New Correct version, Thanks FORCE H This song took approximately two months to write and record. Coincidentally it was finished on May 27th 2004... 63 years to the day, that BISMARCK was sunk by the Royal Navy. We dedicate this song to the courageous crew of H.M.S. HOOD and to "Those in peril on the sea. "During the battle for Naval supremacy of the North Atlantic, The HOOD was destroyed by the BISMARCK and over 1400 men gave their lives that fateful day, only three crew members survived. This song was inspired by the 1960 movie "Sink the Bismarck". What we have attempted to do, is encapsulate the essence of the movie in just 7 minutes 24 seconds - To achieve this ambitious goal, we have used about two minutes of various sound bytes from the actual movie. Around these sound bytes we have woven about five minutes of original lyrics. The song is part "Broadway Show", "Part War Movie", with a dash of "Spaghetti Western" thrown in for good measure. jcwilliamsmustdie5 ::: Favorites The bismark was a very tough ship but the yamato battle ship would have ripped the bismark 2 shreds . 07-08-11 20:40:44 _____________________________________________________
jcwilliamsmustdie5 ::: Favorites Why do they shoot the guy at the desk in the beginning? 07-08-16 08:38:04 _____________________________________________________
phonepkh ::: Favorites Because he is transmitting to England via MORSE CODE that the Bismarck is leaving , entering the Denmark straits...which means it is active and WAR READY,to blow up cargo ships in the North Atlantic...The Guy getting shot is a HERO,like many of his kind that gave their lives to stop the Nazis back then. is that a good enough explanation? In the movie he gets killed later, we brought That forward...as it sets the song up..telling the story from the Dying Mans perspective.
